Meet the team

Todd Davis
WBAG's Sports Director and voice of the WIlliams High School football team since 2014. a sports enthusiast with a background in Mass Communications from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Elon.
As a seasoned play-by-play announcer for high school football and basketball he brings excitement to every game.
Todd is a former coach for youth football and baseball and also football for both high school and middle school.
Todd is also a dedicated-sport athlete himself earning awards on the field and court.
Todd's hosting of shows like Inside the Huddle Football Show, First Pitch Baseball Show, Alamance Glass Coaches Show and The Tailgate Show has earned him four Reporter of the Year awards,
showcasing his commitment to sports and community.

Todd also works with the Tar Heels Sports Network and The ACC.
In 2021 Todd earned his certification as a NCHSAA rules analyst with the Association.

November 4, 1947 - July 27, 2022
Mark Robertson started his sports career as a member of the Western Alamance Football team and in the 1960's was a member of the North Carolina Runner's up in the State Championships.
A football official for over 43 years Mark earned a lot of respect from his colleagues and was honored with many awards over his career including inducted into the NC/SC Shrine bowl. Western Alamance Hall of Fame and the Alamance County Hall of Fame. Mark also officiated high school basketball, served as director and executive secretary of assignments for the Burlington Football Association, President of the North State Football Association, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) official clock operator for Duke University football. Mark also earned the position of Head Referee and officiated three NCHSAA State Football Championships.
Mark was married to his love Mary and had two sons.
At WBAG he served as color reports and rules analyst for football and basketball,

The Mark "True Grit" Award, established in 2023, honors a dedicated member of the Williams High School Football team. This prestigious accolade recognizes the athlete's hard work on the field, to academics, and service to the community. It celebrates those who the true essence of teamwork and perseverance,
reflecting the values that Mark stood for.

At the annual Williams Football Banquet on January 28th, 2024. With the blessing of Williams High School Athletics, we proudly dedicate the WBAG football booth at Williams High School to Mark, recognizing his unwavering dedication, devotion, and commitment to Alamance County sports.
His family was in attendance to celebrate this heartfelt tribute, ensuring that Mark's legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
